Students 19 and under with at least one year of experience on an instrument, are eligible. Registrations will be accepted for the following instruments: trumpet, saxophone, trombone, piano, bass, guitar, drumset, vibraphone, clarinet, flute, or voice.
The Jazz Workshops are held at the Victoria University of Wellington Kelburn Campus. Updates are available on the New Zealand Jazz Workshops Facebook page. Please join that page for updates and to connect with other Workshops participants.

Students are responsible for their own accommodation. There are many options for accommodation close to the campus including hotels and backpackers. Students from outside Wellington often organize groups to travel and stay together and are accompanied by parent chaperones.

The Workshops start daily at 9:00 am and are finished at 4:30 pm. Lunch for the five days is available for purchase at many convenient locations near the venue or students can bring their own lunch.

Guitar and Bass players need instruments and cables. Amps are provided.
PERFORMANCE DRESS
On Friday, students perform in an evening concert where they'll need some appropriate concert dress clothes, usually all black.
